Spicy 'N Sweet Bacon Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • 4 cups rice
  • 8 strips bacon
  • 2 Tbsp. Soy Vay® Spicy ‘N Sweet Chili Heat Marinade & Dip
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable or canola oil
  • 1 onion, medium size Show video
  • 1 large carrot
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 bunch scallions (about 1/2 cup chopped)
  • 1/4 cup Soy Vay® Toasted Sesame Dressing & Sauce

Prep

  • 1.
    Prepare rice according to package instructions.
  • 2.
    Chop the onion.
  • 3.
    Peel and dice the carrot. Slice the green parts of the scallions.
  • 4.
    In a large non-stick frying pan or wok, cook the bacon until it's crispy.
  • 5.
    Remove and drain excess oil.
  • 6.
    Coarsely chop into bits.
  • 7.
    In a small mixing bowl, coat the bacon with Spicy 'N Sweet Chili Heat marinade.
  • 8.
    Whisk eggs together in a second small mixing bowl. Set aside.
  • 9.
    Clean or dry the non-stick frying pan or wok.
  • 10.
    Place it back on the stove and heat the oil over medium heat.

Cook

  • 1.
    Sauté onion and carrots until tender.
  • 2.
    Stir in eggs and cook until egg is firm, stirring occasionally.
  • 3.
    Add the scallions, rice and bacon, and pour in the Toasted Sesame sauce.
  • 4.
    Mix until everything is evenly coated and warmed through. Serve immediately.
