Q: Where can I buy Soy Vay®?

A: You can find Soy Vay® at most retailers in the marinade and sauce section. Sometimes you can find us in the Asian aisle too. We can't promise your store will have every flavor in stock, but if you ask nicely, they'll probably be happy to order the flavor you're looking for. But since you're here, why not buy directly from Amazon!

Q: Will Soy Vay® make me a better cook?

A: It may not get you your own show on cable, but studies have shown that using Soy Vay® has led to a dramatic increase in kitchen popularity and requests for seconds and probably thirds.

Q: Oh, cool, so what do you think I should make with it?

A: That is a great and frequently asked question. Traditionally, our flavors are a perfect match for grilling or cooking meats and veggies, but why stop there? One of the things we love about our sauces and marinades is how great they go with all sorts of foods. Try dipping your sushi in our sauce, or use it as a base for a stew. In fact, one of our guys here used it to make some beef jerky and it came out awesome. So use your imagination and get cooking. Check out our recipe section for a little inspiration

Q: Is it safe to use Soy Vay® products if they've been left out over night?

A: Yes, it is, but we wouldn't want you to lose a single drop of sauce, so be sure to put it back in the fridge after use. Soy Vay® is still safe to eat if your bottle has been unrefrigerated for 2 hours. However, for anything over 2 hours, we highly suggest you discard any sauce, marinade, or food that's been left out without refrigeration to ensure food safety.

Q: Is it still safe to eat Soy Vay® products after the "best use by" date?

A: Unfortunately, your bottle of Soy Vay® will not last forever (even though we wish it would). All of our products are labeled with a “Best by” date on the top of the cap. After opening, we recommend using your sauce or marinade within a year to make sure you're getting the best flavors possible.

Q: Do Soy Vay® Products contain lactose?

A: No, none of our Soy Vay® products contain lactose. But we did think about a teriyaki ice cream once… just once.

Q: Do Soy Vay® Products contain gluten?

A. All of our flavors, with the exception of Toasted Sesame contain gluten. Just to stay on the safe side, be sure to read the ingredient statements carefully and contact a medical professional if you have concerns about whether or not a product contains gluten.

Q: Are Soy Vay® products certified kosher?

A: Yes, they are! Our products are Certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union (OU), and it's one of the things that makes Soy Vay® so special.

Q: Do Soy Vay® products contain any type of peanuts?

A: Only in one! Our Thai Style Peanut Popped Rice Clusters (one of our snack offerings) has peanuts. All other products (including our marinades) do not contain peanuts.

Q: Can we be friends on Facebook?

A: Absolutely! In fact, it's weird that we're not already. Head over to http://www.facebook.com/SoyVay and give us a Like.

Q: Why switch Soy Vay® bottles from glass to plastic?

A: We made the switch from glass bottles to plastic bottles for several reasons: we heard the sad tale – from grocery stores and from you – that the glass bottles were cracking or shattering before they made their way into your kitchens. For any bottle to break is annoying, but we say it’s certainly worth crying over spilled Soy Vay® sauce. We knew we could make a change that would prevent this from happening in the future, and we decided that the time to make the change was now. Guess what? Glass is also heavier than plastic, which means our bottles took more fuel to transport from our manufacturing site to your pantry shelf. By making our bottles lighter, we’re reducing our carbon footprint when it comes to fuel costs for transportation. Which we think sounds quite nice.

Q: How do you address the fact that plastic is less recyclable than glass?

A: You should be recycling just about everything by now. Are you? Are you recycling? Okay, good. The Soy Vay® product you’re buying at your local store is PETE 1, which means it’s as recyclable as plastic comes. We’re doing our best to balance all aspects of the environment – fuel costs, recyclability – as we make sure you’re getting the delicious sauces and marinades that we work so hard to produce.

Q: Are the bottles BPA free?

A: Our new bottles are completely BPA free.

Q: Will the switch to plastic affect the taste of Soy Vay® sauces and marinades?

A: No way, Jose. We have done extensive testing to ensure that the delightful, saucy flavor inside every Soy Vay® bottle tastes just as good coming out of our new bottles as the old ones.

Q: Am I getting less sauce in the new plastic bottle?

A: Absolutely not– the plastic bottles are delivering just as much delicious sauce to your door as before. And we hear they’re safer to juggle, too.
