Island Teriyaki Burger

Ingredients

  • 1½ lbs. ground beef
  • 3 Tbsp. Soy Vay® Island Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce
  • 1/4 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 4 canned pineapple rings
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns

Prep

  • 1.
    Place the beef in a large mixing bowl.
  • 2.
    Fold in the Island Teriyaki sauce and panko.
  • 3.
    Cover and chill in the fridge for 1 hour or until ready to cook.
  • 4.
    When your mixture is ready, shape the meat into 4 burger patties.
  • 5.
    Prepare a charcoal grill for direct cooking over medium-high heat.
  • 6.
    Seed the bell pepper and cut it into 4 pieces.
  • 7.
    When your mixture is ready, shape the meat into 4 burger patties.

Cook

  • 1.
    Grill the burgers to desired doneness. Make sure the patties reach an internal temperature of at least 160ºF.
  • 2.
    Grill the bell pepper, pineapple rings and lightly toast the rolls.
  • 3.
    Serve the burgers on the rolls each topped with the bell peppers and pineapple rings.
