Baked Tofu

Ingredients

  • 1 package (14 oz.) firm tofu
  • 1 cup Soy Vay® Hoisin Garlic Asian Glaze & Marinade
  • 2 tsp. toasted white sesame seeds
  • 1 scallion

Prep

  • 1.
    Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  • 2.
    First, cut the tofu into 1/4 inch slices and place on paper towels to drain for about 10 minutes.
  • 3.
    Arrange the tofu in a shallow dish or resealable plastic container.
  • 4.
    Pour in Hoisin Garlic sauce and turn tofu until evenly coated.
  • 5.
    Cover and marinate in the fridge for 20 minutes.
  • 6.
    When tofu is ready, discard any leftover marinade.
  • 7.
    Thinly slice the scallions.

Cook

  • 1.
    Using a lipped cookie sheet, cook the tofu for about 40 minutes, turning once halfway through cooking.
  • 2.
    Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions.
  • 3.
    Serve immediately.
