Rated 2 out of 5 by from WHY WOULD YOU SWITCH TO PLASTIC FROM GLASS I was turned on to Soy Vay Island blend about 5 years ago and have loved it all along. Although today I went to my local grocery and could not find it in a glass bottle. It's now in plastic. The taste is not the same. In fact nothing tastes good in plastic. Do a taste test on soda pop, take two of the same brand one in glass and the other in plastic and you will notice a huge difference. The same is true with your product. I originally liked it because it was kosher and in glass. My Rabi wouldn't give me poison in disguise. Not only does bottling your once wonderful product in plastic change the flavor but it also compromises the integrity. Why don't you offer us to choose from plastic or glass at the grocery store. If its a matter of $avings on your part, Allow us to make the choice on the shelf. WE PREFER GLASS! It tastes better and it's doesn't leach chemicals like plastic does...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Flavor and ingredients have changed I've been using your Toasted Sesame dressing very regularly for the past year. It's been great! I usually buy several bottles at once. However, I just used up the last of my glass bottles and switched over to your new plastic bottle, and I was very disappointed to discover that the flavor has changed. That "sweet vinegar" taste that made the product so attractive has become noticeably muted. I compared the ingredients lists on the two bottles and realized that a portion of the vinegar has been replaced with water and that vinegar has now become one of the lesser ingredients. What a shame! The new flavor is not nearly as good. It tastes watered down. What's your explanation? I thought the formula was going to stay the same when you switched from glass containers to plastic bottles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delicious! I use the Toasted Sesame in stir fries, and as a salad dressing on salads that I buy for lunch. It has no artificial ingredients, so I substitute this fabulous dressing and know I am not getting any MSG. I also use it for cold noodle salads with chicken and anything else thrown in. Very versatile!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Argh. Yup, this toasted sesame dressing has vanished off ALL my store shelves. I too have been using the toasted sesame dressing weekly (formerly known as Cha Cha Dressing) since its inception. Lived in Santa Cruz, close to the founder's home base. Was able to still find it in WA state from '99 to 2010. Moved to the Denver metro area last year and could only find it at Sprout's Market. As of 4-5 months ago, they no longer stock it either. I've looked voraciously for it on any possible shelf location, in Safeways, King Soopers, Whole Foods, Albertsons, and more. None to be found. What's up? The online prices are way out of reach, $6.00+ a bottle, plus shipping?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love it I've been buying Toasted Sesame dressing for years, but now can't find it at Safeway, Trader Joe's or Andronico's anymore. I hope someone can tell me where to find it in or near Berkeley, CA. I only have one bottle left and am desperate. I tried contacting customer service, but it wouldn't let me select a product, so I couldn't send the email. I can't imagine not having it for my salads.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ali I have been using Toasted Sesame dressing for over 8 years and my guests always ask about the delicious dressing. I pour it over greens with feta cheese, pine nuts, carrots, strawberries, and Asian Chow Main noodles. Or try it over greens with goat cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, croutons and candied pecans. Or use it as a marinade over salmon in the oven - wrapped loosely with foil for 7 minutes at 400 degrees. This is my 6 year old daughter's favorite meal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the sauce formerly known as Cha Cha Chinese Chicken Salad Dressing! Thank goodness, Soy Vay didn't discontinue their Cha Cha Chinese Chicken Salad Dressing - they just renamed it Toasted Sesame! This makes the best chicken salad ever. Delicious and packed with flavor.
